Steve Stoyko Semi-Slav Lecture


FM Steve Stoyko will lecture on the Semi-Slav Variation of the Queen's Gambit Declined on Thursday, March 14th, beginning at 8:15 pm at the Kenilworth Chess Club.  This will be the first of two parts, the second of which will be delivered on March 28th.  Members of the club pay only $5 for both lectures; non-members $5 for each.  I am definitely planning to attend and have been reviewing material in Kaufman's Chess Advantage in Black and White and Kasparov's Revolution in the 70s in preparation.  More serious students might want to get Vigorito's Play the Semi-Slav.
