I have annotated two games from the third day of the Kenilworth Chess Club's annual Summer Tournament. The Summer Tourney is a fun event, mostly because it is unrated, so players are a lot less risk-averse and games often take a wild turn or two. However, because the time limit is Game-60, it is not always easy to navigate accurately through those wild twists and turns! In the two games I've annotated, players missed the strongest attacking continuation (see diagrams above), but still enjoyed an interesting game. I look forward to playing again this coming Thursday.
